Delivery Models

YouWinn Delivery Model

Higher quality and productivity

Quality Matters, your ambitions and needs tailored to you.

The Global Delivery Model is a well-developed methodology that lets clients benefit from geographical differences in skill-sets and cost of inputs. The methodology is based on the principle of dividing a project into components that can be logically separated and executed at various geographic locations, where the execution creates maximum value. The critical challenge in deploying the Global Delivery Model is managing distributed execution across geographies and time-zones, which YouWinn has perfected over the years.

The Global Delivery Model is able to provide lower costs, higher quality and productivity to clients, apart from freeing resources that can be put to use in research, solution definition and new initiatives that add to competitive advantages.

YouWinn uses the Global Delivery Model with its innovation in designing work contracts that address client concerns to provide an unbeatable value proposition

Onsite Development

In this approach a dedicated team of professionals works at the client’s facility. All the activities are performed at the customer site. The project management and design & development teams are all based at that location. They report to the client’s IT manager. If desired, the client could also manage the actual project. This is suitable for organizations that already have IT facilities in place and is effective for projects like on-going software upgrades that require constant interaction with different departments at the client’s location. We provide trained and experienced professionals to work at the client site under the client supervision.

Customer’s sponsors work closely with the YouWinn’s project management and design team to establish deliverable s, timelines, team composition, etc. Day-to-day supervision of the activities is handled by a combination of the both the teams.

This approach is ideal for engagements where: • The scope has not been defined in detail • The scope may undergo a number of changes • The deliverables or the requirements can change dynamically • Timelines are aggressive • Information is confidential, proprietary, or the customer has other concerns about the security of information (i.e. public agencies)

Offsite Development

In this approach, work is performed at YouWInn's development center onshore (locally). The biggest advantage that offsite development provides is the reduction of software development costs. We understand that different requirements exist with regard to specific business functions as well as cost and time frames for completion. Accordingly we adapt our services so that comprehensive offsite development programs can be offered to you.

Prior to beginning any work, our team meets with the client team to work out the details of the engagement. The project scope, deliverable s, interfaces, reporting, functionality issues, timelines, etc. are all defined in detail. A small prototype of the actual application may also be developed during this phase to understand the look and feel of the end product.

Deliverables and other progress reports will be made available to client at pre-agreed intervals. The client may choose to receive remote access to the development server via a VPN or some other secure means. By accessing the development server remotely, the client can monitor progress in real time, and maintain overall control even though work is being carried out offsite.

This model of development is suggested when:
• The scope has been defined in detail
• Timelines are aggressive
• There is need for the client to visit with the development team or the team’s managers for greater efficiency

Offshore development

global development centers

Resource pool

A team of programmers/Analysts will work at our development center. At the clients office there will be working a team of experts. They are responsible for the analysis and the design of the application/project. This team sends coding instructions to our development center. This team is responsible for complete coding and testing of the application. When development is done then this will be sent back to the customers' local team where second level of testing and QA are performed. This ensures high quality assurance and the client also has someone in his office who is responsible for the work done.

Offshore development is useful for companies that want to outsource project maintenance work. In this case, there is a 24-hour turn around for any additions and changes that are required in the project.
